| HELP CHANGE A CHILD'S LIFE
These children are lacking basic necessities
such as food, adequate medical care and education. Help to give them
opportunities for a better life.
A small contribution goes a long way to help a
child in Tibet. Our goal is to give each child $360 per year
($30 per month). If you wish to support the children you can
make your contributions monthly, quarterly or annually. One time
contributions in any amount are gratefully accepted.
The Tibetan Family Project paid funds to its
first child in March 2004. At the present time, 26 children are
being supported. We add more children as our sponsorships increase.
All contributions go into a common pool and
are divided equally among the children, with each child receiving $360
per year. 100% of the money goes directly to the children. All
administrative expenses are donated by the Dharmata Foundation, and
all administrative work is done by volunteers. A volunteer translates
letters from the children, and these are displayed in newsletters and
on the web site.
This website thus becomes a way to form our
Dharma Community of Sponsors and children and to appreciate our
interconnectedness and love for one another.
